Total Kaombo (Angola)

Kaombo is the first development project in Block 32 offshore Angola. The project encompasses the development of the Gindungo, Gengibre, Canela, Mostarda, Louro and Caril oil accumulations in waters ranging from 4,600 to 6,200 feet deep. Reserves associated with the project are estimated at 650 million barrels.

The development plan calles for 59 development wells connected by 186 miles of subsea pipeline. Produced oil will be routed to two FPSOs, each with the production capacity of 115,000 barrels of oil per day.

MEXIM were invited to deliver the entire retrofit insulation scope for
8 connector systems.
